Recording completed

Last recordings for the upcoming "Endternity" demo CD have been completed. Just some Synth and Special FX were missing; the versatile Korg Z1 EVL synth helped so much to reach the end of this phase. Search here for some news in the near future!

Mixing and editing sessions completed

In the late afternoon, the mixing and editing sessions of the new demo CD called "Endternity" have been completed at Massive Arts Studio by Fabrizio Grenghi (mixing) and Alberto Cutolo (Mastering). The first listenings were awesome!

Master sent to Sony DADC Partner for printing

The master CD made by Massive Arts has been sent to City Record, Sony DADC partner for CD printing. We suppose to receive the 1000 CD ordered just before the God of Metal annual event (on June, the 7th).

Alpha design of the site released

The first alpha version of the site has been released! The project was developed ad the very beginning to support all browsers at a screen resolution of 1024x768 pixels; due to the still too used resolution of 800x600 pixels, we decided to take one step back and plan a smaller design, still compatible with most of the available browsers.

Beta design becomes reality

The planned beta version, supporting 800x600 screen resolution and most of the available browser, has taken its way to reality. Now most of the "box" has been set, so it's time to work hard on contents.

Official opening of the site

With the publication of the first MP3 song called "The Chant" directly taken from the Demo CD "Endternity" (see "Discography" for further reference), this site is officially opened. Nice Surfing!

Updated MP3 songs

Updated the MP3 versions of the song "The Chant": now you'll find two versions (VBR at high quality and 96Kbit/22Khz), and a 30" sample.

Happy-ended adventure

At the end of a productive evening dedicated to the development of a new song, came the Rodolfo's tragic discover, together with the rest of the band: the door of his house was stucked, all the windows left opened, his pets inside and the storm outside (coming in...). Only the Firemen were able to allow to the whole group to get back to home. This event give to the band the oppurtunity to gift a Fireman with a copy of "Endternity".

Incredibile Dictu!

After a lucky meet, on saturday evening Alessio got the occasion to speak with Michael Amott and Angela Gossow, and to gift them a copy of Endternity! The [Arch Enemy] were in Milan because of the concert they would had the next day as Soulfly supporters.

Together As One Festival

The Apeiron, visiting the Together As One Festival, received many positive comments from many people which listened Endternity; the band would like to thank all of these, and also all the bands encountered during the festival, hoping in florid future cooperations.

Apeiron: back to creativity!

At the end of holidays, the Apeiron came back to work on five new songs; the first of these is almost completed, and it signs the consolidation of the band's personal style.

New english section opened

As september begun, Apeironet.it opens back with the publishing of the english section, with fully-updated contents. Furtermore, new sections are now available. In the next future will also be launched an Image Gallery, containing all the photos now visible and more…

New sample: Engraved in Eternity!

The [download] section contains a new MP3 sample, 52" taken from "Engraved in Eternity", fourth track in "Endternity". One more reason to send your comments about the band music proposal to the [webmaster].

First Endternity reviews (english version not available)!

Both [TrueMetal] and [MetalManiacs] have reviewed "Endternity"! These first comment by the online press are a great first step for the band's musical growth. Moreover, [NeroOpaco] published a band's interview.

The [download] section has been updated. Now the page is organized in a simple table, this will help you in selecting the song to download. A further reason to download the songs of "Endternity". Moreover there are some modifications in Federico and Filippo's sheet in the [members] section.

Concert in Bellinzona

Apeiron, coming back in Italy after their gig in Bellinzona (Swiss), thank all the public for the surprising enthusiasm shown. They hope to return soon playing in Switzerland. A special thank goes to Gian-Andrea and Patrick from Morbus Gravis for the great care in organizing the concert.

Change in line-up and future gigs

With the new year, Apeiron announce important news after publishing the first demo CD "Endternity".
The singer Claudio Passeri leaves the band because of diverging musical ideas and targets; wishing he may find a band in line with his needs, Apeiron have already begun searching a valid substitute, though not interrupting the scheduled shows.
The band's live activity, beginning with a series of gigs at the end of last year, will continue with Endternity's promotion, also through collaboration from many Italian bands. The nearest appointments will be February 1st at "Sitting Bull" (Certosa di Pavia), with the band Decadence, and march 2nd at "La Sfinge" in Brescia.
The musical production hasn't been interrupted by the live events: infact, many ideas forecast the new album's construction, and some songs have already been presented live.

New Mp3 and new interview!

A new big update for www.apeironet.it. In the [download] section three new songs have been added: two cover (In Flames and Dark Tranquillity) and a new song (the working title is "Arise"). In the [media room] section you can find a new Apeiron interview (in english!) done by [Possessed] german webzine.

The month of February ended in a good way for Apeiron: two new reviews and a song "on air". "Endternity" has been reviewed by the webzine [Lethe Warden] and by the italian magazine [Rock Hard] (7,5/10). To read other reviews you can go to the [media room]section. Moreover Apeiron has been played on-air in the australian radio program [Musically Incorrect] with the song "Stone Gazed". News also in live events: saturday 17 May Apeiron will play live in [Comunità Giovanile], Busto Arsizio; the live events will feature also [Morbus Gravis] a good Death Metal band from Swiss. It has also been updated Alessio's gear sheet in the [members] section.

New reviews and new live gig!

On the web you can find two new reviews of "Endternity": [Metallian], webzine from Canada, and [Shapeless Zine] from Italy. Apeiron will play a new live gig: april the 5th in Aosta with Illogicist. Changes in the gig scheduled for the 17th of may in Comunità Giovanile: the concert will feature Illogicist and not Morbus Gravis as previously announced.

New component for Apeiron!

Apeiron announce the official entrance of the new singer, Sid, in the lineup! Added in the [members] section all the informations about the new vocalist.
Here you can read the official Apeiron communiqué: Vigevano, march 4 2003 - Returning from the last live performance with Dying Awkward Angel, Apeiron announce the new singer, Sid, and his official entry in the band.
Sid has performed live also in the previous gig, and he immediately proved both an excellent vocal ability in screaming and growling, quickly integrated with Apeiron's melodies, and a natural sintony with the rest of the components.
This lays the important and concrete base for the band's creative development, that also sees the beginning of the work for the next album
Since his approach to the metal world 5 years ago, first through bass guitar and after through vocals, Sid has always felt the need to express himself making use of his vocal ability in screaming and growling, only partially satisfied in his former Slayer-tribute band, in which he played entering Apeiron.
Sid will have the opportunity to express his vocal endowment in the new songs, that might be presented live already in the next scheduled gigs.

This evening at 21.30 Apeiron will play at "Fateci Spazio", Vigevano (PV), for the contest "Onda Sonora" that will feature more than 30 bands that will play today and tomorrow.

Apeiron will take part to the Italian Metal Gods fest that will be held at Black Hole in Milan on sunday, june 29th (gate opening at 13:00). GIG CANCELLED!

The gig scheduled for friday, july 11th at La Sfinge, Brescia has been cancelled due to reasons that go beyond the will of the band and of the pub. Apeiron apologize for the event.

Apeironet.it opens back after the summer pause with a new update. Added new Mp3

Big update in the [download] section: now you can download 3 new songs, one from "Endternity" and the others live recorded. From the Demo-cd it is now possible to download also Wavespell in the full version; besides this it is possible to hear two songs recorded during the May 2003 gig in Busto Arsizio: Burning Soul, working title for a new Apeiron's song and a cover version of Dead Eternity by In Flames. Both songs have been recorded with the new line-up, with Sid as vocalist.

Battle of the Metal Bands

Apeiron are registered to the [Battle of the Metal Bands] contest organized by Metallus.it, with the contribution of Metal Hammer and Transilvania Horror Rock Cafe and opened to all the metal bands without a deal.
The bands will be voted by a public and a jury that shall value the song loaded on the band's personal page on Metallus.it. Apeiron will partecipate with the song "The Chant" from the first demo-Cd "Enternity". The [band's page] presents a short biography besides the opinion on the band given by Metallus.
It is possible to vote phoning to the 899.189905 number: you will be asked to type the band's code (0145). The service is available only from Italy.

From now on, you can find a new review of "Endternity", published on the January issue of Metal Shock. A good opinion has been given on the first Apeiron's cd by the important italian magazine.

Apeiron on the occasion of the [Dissection] gig at Thunder Road in Codevilla had the opportunity to know Jon Nödtveidt, leader of the band, and they gave him a copy of "Endternity". Great show!

New gig!

Return on the stage for Apeiron: they will play live with Everdying in march the 26th at Tempio in Pietra de' Giorgi - Broni (PV). Recordings beginning

Apeiron begin in these days the recordings of the tracks that will be on the next cd. Drum parts are almost finished in the personal studio of the band, the works will go on with the other instruments so as to publish the album within this year.

Drums and bass finished

The recordings of the new songs go on: Rodolfo finished the drums tracks in august and in the past days Alessio did his job with bass tracks. Works now continue with guitars: Filippo and Federico in these days are working on guitar sounds. Songs begin to take shape and the band at the moment is satisfied with the work done.

With Christmas just round the corner Apeiron decided to make you a little present: in the [download] area you can find a sample from one of the new songs! It's still just a raw mix, but it's close to how the album will sound. Meanwhile, Apeiron keep working, there will be more news soon!

New graphic, new section and updates

As many of you could have noticed there is a new web-style and the section [Photos] has been added. The new section contains all the pictures that once were scattered here and there in the website.
About the recordings we can say that finally we are almost at the end and for now we are satisfied of the result! Now only vocal parts, some synths here and there and some others little parts. To the next update...

Line-up news

After a three year collaboration, our dear Sid has sadly decided to leave the band to move towards more extreme horizons. We're sorry for his decision but we understand, and we wish him to reach his goals on the new journey he has decided to begin.

Meanwhile, we're considering whether to search for a new member for the line-up or to continue on our own selves.

This weekend we were busy recording some sitar parts to be included in a song from the new cd.
Filippo did a very good job with the instrument.

Happy new year!!

We were awaiting this new year with excitement, since in the next couple of months many things will start moving for Apeiron.
First of all, the album will be anticipated by an Ep, with three new songs and a little surprise. Afterwards we'll get back on the road, with some gigs in the north of Italy to promote the new release.

Monday, march 31st we'll be entering the studio to mix and master our new EP!

"THE CRUEL CRIME", Apeiron's new EP out now!

Here the official press release:

APEIRON would like to announce the release of the new EP entitled "The Cruel Crime", made of 3 new tracks filled with personal melodies and accompanied by introspective and melanchonic lyrics. Also in the EP a bonus track taken from the band's first demo, revisited in the sound and arrangements. The EP anticipates the band's first full length, which is being completed and which will bring musical research and experimentation to new horizons.
The band is now organizing some live gigs for fall/winter, which will be part of the band's promotional activity.
"The Cruel Crime" is available as a CD, and also on iTunes, Napster, Amazon and all the major digital download platforms. A sneak preview is available on [www.apeironet.it] and also on the band's myspace page, [www.myspace.com/apeiron]. For this occasion, both websites have been completely renewed grafically.

TOP DEMO on MetalBeta.it

The Cruel Crime is again TOP DEMO, this time on the italian webzine [MetalBeta.it]! Apart from this, that can be read [here] (only in italian, sorry!), new reviews from around the world are available [here].
Moreover, apart from taking some sun on beaches around the world, this summer we began the scheduling of some gig for the next autumn. Back from holidays we are still working hard to book some others dates...

Magazines, interview and shop

It's a big pleasure to inform you that we are on the september issues of Metal Maniac and Metal Hammer. The two well-known italian magazines wrote great things about The Cruel Crime. You can read both articles in the [Review] section (only in italian, sorry!), many other new reviews have been added.
Moreover a new interview can be found directly on the pages of the italian webzine [Metal Empire].

News also in the [Shop] section of the website. We added the option to buy our last EP The Cruel Crime with our fist demo Endternity together for only 6€! A great deal!

Show cancelled!!!

We are sorry to announce you that the show scheduled for tonight at Diapason Music Club in Varese is postponed. The decision is due to causes that go beyond the will of the bands involved and of the pub!

We are pleased to inform you that this Thursday we will be on air with a little interview in the Death Note show on Radio Erre conduced by dj.voodoo, Dj Edly e Dj Birzium.
The shoe will be on air starting from 22.15 CET on the frequency 89.100 Mhz or 104.100 Mhz if you are in Marche or on the internet on [www.radious.it].
The show, once finished, will be available on this [MySpace].

We are very sad to inform you that the show scheduled for tonight at Sottosopra in Molino del Conte has been cancelled due to very bad weather conditions.
It's snowing and the roads are in a very bad state...

New gigs

We are pleased to inform you that we will play as supporting act, with Berith's Legion, in the release party that our friend Within Your Pain will hold for the release of their first album through Last Scream Records!
The party will be held in Vigevano at Cooperativa Portalupi on March the 14th, Saturday.
Soon we will be instead playing again on the Marmaja stage in Cusano Milanino during the Rockultura contest, the date is in February, the 3rd, we wait you!
In the meantime don't be afraid, we are working for you and news will come soon.

From the begininning of the last week the new [Shop] section is online! New man and girlie T-shirt along with a new hoodie model are now available!
We have also added the new "Add to cart" feature to buy more items with a single order.
The methods of payment remain the same: Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard credit cards, Postepay. The transaction takes place on the secure Paypal website. Shipping costs, as you can see, are very low. Now all you have to do is order!

Next gigs

As many of you know, from the last december we are attending the Rockultura - Jack Daniel's contest at Marmaja Live Club in Cusano Milanino (MI).
With the last gig, last tuesday, we passed to the semifinal that will take place on april the 14th, tuesday at Marmaja. No need to say that we need your presence and your vote to pass to the final stage. We wait you.
Another gig has been added to the calendar: june the 5th, friday at Jack Bikers in Vigevano. We will share the stage with Lifend.

TOP DEMO on Heavy-Metal.it

A quick update just to inform you that The Cruel Crime is Top Demo on the italian webzine [Heavy-Metal.it]!

Next gigs and cooperations

In the next months a couple of killer gigs will come.
The first gig will be in Vigevano at Jack Bikers on Friday June, the 5th. We will play with Flor De Sangre as supporting act for Lifend.
The next gig will be in Gambolò (PV) on saturday, July the 4th. We will play at the second edition of Crash Fest, young and dynamic free-entrance festival created by Mass Murder Inc. Headliners will be two internationally acclaimed bands: To Kill and Zona. Other great bands will share the stage with us: Within Your Pain, Elven and Neptune's Rage.

On the 5th of June at Jack Bikers, Gabriele, Rodolfo's young cousin, will play the drums with the band. Rodolfo on that date unfortunately will be in the United States for business. Though sorry for Rodolfo's absence we are happy of the chance to work with Gabriele!
Time of cooperation! Federico will play guitar with Within Your Pain replacing The Facialiser for a couple of gigs in May, in Alessandria with Five Days of Rain and Chaos Among Nameless, and in Castellanza with Ministri and Reimuda.

Tonight gig postponed!!!

The gig scheduled for tonight at Jack Bikers in Vigevano has been postponed! This is for the rain that is still falling.
Since the stage is an open air one the locale has been forced to take this decision.
No need to say that we are very sad for this accident, but we will keep you informed about the rescheduling of the gig!

Bikers gig recovery and updates

We can inform you that the Jack Bikers' gig in Vigevano, originally scheduled for june the 5th, will be recovered on july, the 10th. All the details and the flyer can be found, as always, in the [Live] section. We wait you!
During the past month we were guests in the third [VRadio] show, a young local radio show. You can listen to the show in the radio MySpace or you can download it directly from [here]. We thank for the support Valeria, Fabrizio, Rebu and Mauro beside all VRadio's staff!

Compilation

It's a big pleasure for us to inform you of our presence, with the song "Clutches of Despair", on the Volume 1 of the compilation Extreme Music Aggression produced by [Babylon Magazine]! Featured also 15 great bands of the italian underground.
The compilation will be given for free to the greatest events this summer in more than 3000 copies.
For what concerns us, you can find it for free at our shows or alternatively it will be included for free in every [merchandise] order on our website.

In the [Discography] section we also added a couple of compilation we joined in the past years.

In studio!

A little but big update: in this exact moment we're posting from Fear Studio in Alfonsine, where we're working on our first full length's mix and master!
The tracks were recorded at Ironape Project Studio in Vigevano, and are now being taken care of by the expert hands (and ears) of Simone Mularoni, renowned for his works with Empyrios, Gory Blister, The Modern Age Slavery, etc.
Up to now we're extremely satisfied with the results, and the past month's hard work is yielding excellent outturns.
The track list and the title still remain a mystery, but you'll receive fresh news as the work will proceed.

We are glad to announce you that our first full-lenght "Among the Lost" will be released on friday, next week, by Last Scream Records!

Vigevano, 31/10/2009 - "Among the Lost", Apeiron's new full length album, will be officially released on Friday, November 6th by Last Scream Records.
